Hail & Farewell, KUNSAN Style

Well here are a couple of the photos you have all been waiting for..
One tradition here at Kunsan is definitely the Hail & farewell.. Our squadron the 8th Civil Engineer Sq, nicknamed the "Red Devils" has a long standing tradition. One part of that is the way you EARN your unit coin.. Yes even though some of you may have thought the COIN was dead, here at Kunsan, if you're a RED DEVIL, YOU BETTER have one !!.

This 1st photo is BEFORE the HAIL actually began, all the new guys in our pretty little costumes..

OK Everyone sit down and HOLD hands.. Not too bad but after a while, just sitting there not being able to lean on anything kind of reminded me of the OLD DAYROOM tactics in Basic Training..

If you don't want to try the RED DEVIL pushups, you must try and dance.. So out of no where came the RUNNING MAN !!!!.. Yea

Devil 1-4 thought the running man was good and let me pass to the next round.. OH yea Firedawgs have TWO rounds, not just ONE.. LOL

This is only ONE part of round TWO...RUN, SLIDE up to the CHIEF ("WITH OUT") touching him or the chair and bark like a DOG... LOL and that would be ME barking like a FireDawg!!

Congratulations, Who are you, where did you come from, where are you going and WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO FOR THE RED DEVILS.. Needless to say the coin was probably the MOST expensive coin I have ever earned.. BUT I was the 1st DAWG to get one this evening.. Guess I could have tried the push ups but then I would still be sitting on the floor at the end of the line waiting my turn.. LOL

So, now I am an OFFICIAL " RED DEVIL"..
