This weeks thoughts

I apologize for not continuing my RANDOM Korea posts.. I will try and do better...

So what going on in Korea.. We just finished our first Exercise (well MY 1st on with the WOLF PACK) and then rolled right into veterans day and now Thanksgiving is coming..

so what do I have to be thankful for ??? AN AWESOME Family, a FEW Awesome friends..I am thankful that my family lives in a free country and that we are taken care of right now..The ONLY bad part about being FREE is ME having to be over here in Korea and miss yet ANOTHER Thanksgiving & Christmas.. OH did I forget to mention the other days I ALWAYS MISS.. My Birthday, Tammy's birthday(occasionally) Halloween, and our Anniversary.. Yup probably about 7 times in my 17 years I have missed them ALL...

I know this isn't in order but lets talk about Veterans.. Did you all know my dad is a Vietnam Vet.. Yea if I was tougher in high school he would have talked me into the Marine Corp. Although I am glad I chose the BLUE and am SOOO proud when I see ANY commercial about the Marines because I know Dad wore that uniform. One day we will sit down and trade stories but as some of you probably know most Vietnam era vets don't like to talk about any of it..But hell we can all cry and laugh together right?? So I send a shout out to all the veterans in my family..Especially my DAD !! Love you dad !!

So what next.. Oh I guess I will continue where I started. We are in Thanksgiving week, all though we have HUGE meal planned for our unit it's going to be a lonely day for me. Soon we will be getting close to Christmas and i hope to have a nice surprise for the kids..

well I guess that's about it for now.. I miss you Tammy, Tyler, Zach and Ian more than you know.. This week has been an emotional RELAPSE for me and I am working through it but MAN DO I MISS YOU ALL !!! ;-(...
