A little more than 30

OK ONE rule.. NO GRAMMAR checks.. that's for those I have some problems  LOL

I have to start with an APOLOGY AGAIN.. I got an e-mail from a friend today and realized I have not written anything since I left home to come back here.. So WHERE do I start

1. I got back to Korea just in time to start seeing all the GREAT friends I have found a way to gather up, LEAVE... You know I could write a WHOLE blog just on Friends leaving but I will leave you with only a FEW comments for now.... FRIENDS..FAMILY... You know after 18 years in the Air Force you think leaving (no matter if it's your family or the AWESOME friends you have gather) would bet easier ..It NEVER gets easier...I HONESTLY think after the last two months here in Korea that it GETS HARDER, It HURTS MORE, but as someone else said to me last week.. I WOULDN't TRADE it for anything..WHY because you ONLY get to feel like this when you have MET SOME AWESOME FRIENDS and they have touched your heart FOREVER, and you know that no matter where you are in the Air Force or in life, YOU WILL ALWAYS have a place in their heart and their home.. OK Enough of that for now..

2. I have gotten to do a couple cool things in the last month.. One was the Boreyoung Mud Fest..I can't really explain it, but take a HUGE Beach festival and then PUT some MINERAL based MUD all over everyone..OH then when you're done,, swim in the Yellow sea to wash it off and start all over...But wait it's not done.. Do this with a bunch of cool people, go out on the town and then camp near the beach... Just too bad we left the base soo late.. The day seemed to slip away soooo fast but it was soooo fun..

3. I got to take a 4 hour bus trip up to the DMZ...If you have never heard about it, or seen it.. It really puts into perspective why we are here in Korea..I can't even try to explain this trip either, you just have to look at the photos here ----> DMZ photos In the one PIC below you can actually SEE the LINE between N & S Korea on the table.. The Flag and little microphones are the LINE...This was a GREAT trip and the pictures really don't do it justice

4. Oh I guess I forgot to mention that the day after I got back from Midtour we had a Combat Dinning in.. That was a blast as well.. Then moved through the month of June and into the LONG July 4th weekend. The BAND "LRD" came down from Seoul and they were pretty good..It was another GREAT time with some good friends......

5. What's to come in the next month.. MORE FRIENDS Leave.. probably a FEW more tears, but I like I said, I wouldn't trade the feeling for ANYTHING...When you actually have friends that are good enough to shed tears for when they leave(or leave), then they have meant something to you...If you have ever seen the title to the BFF blog, you would understand better.. I will REPOST at the end of this.

5.1 More of this month..I guess the big things on the Horizon besides outprocessing, and getting my TMO picked up is the base Dinning IN, I get to do ANOTHER Devils's RUN.. and I get to have a going party with SOME of those good friends but wish there were a few still here..One question I have been asking myself the last two months is CAN I PLEASE Be the FIRST one to LEAVE JUST ONCE...

6. On Sept 8th, I get to LEAVE this place and go back to my Family..it is going to be a challenge for ALL of us because people grow in different ways in12 months..or just learn to manage alone, I don't know it's tough to explain, but we know that it will not be easy. We are going to do EVERYTHING we can to make it as easy, fun and exciting, as we all transition back to being a TEAM again. Yup Sept 8th...I get to go home again...I know we all are excited to END this chapter and get on with the next one...and I know Tammy really needs a tag team partner with the boys..So here I come..:-)

7. I guess that is where I am at right now..It's actually a VERY weird feeling to feel SHORT in Korea.. It's much different that being short at a stateside base..

as promised earlier in this post.. here is something from the BFF blog that should explain what IMPACT all these GREAT Friends I have made in the Air Force and Korea have had on me and my life.....

""Most people come into our lives and quickly leave. It is the special few that come in and leave a footprint in our hearts, and we are forever changed!""
